Nothing is stripped out of your water. The minerals stay in it, separated from one another, which is exactly what makes them available to a plant that wants one of them and not the others.
Electron impulses from the inner core change the dissolved minerals electrochemically. Hydrogen bonding relaxes, surface tension drops, and you get "wetter" water that soaks in rather than running off.
Because the electron supply never runs short, the unit keeps performing at the same level rather than tailing off. That is the basis of the ten-year guarantee on the stainless steel body.
